SEPTEMBER 2003
September 6th 2003:
- The news items for August have been moved to the News Archive
section.
- A new contest entry has been added to the Game & Watch Design Contest
section.
- A friendly reminder (again): You have until September 30th (at midnight)
to submit your entry to the Game & Watch Design Contest. The winners
will be announced on October 6th, which will mark the one-year anniversary of
this web site! :-)
September 13th 2003:
- I added a preliminary checklist for Pokémon-e EX Sandstorm
to the Checklists section. Keep in mind that only the cards with
e-Reader dot-code data strips are listed. If you want the complete checklist,
you can find it by clicking here.
- Rumors indicate that the next Pokémon-e series will be called
Pokémon-e EX Dragons and will be released in December 2003. This
piece of info has been added to the Future Releases section.
- In a recent
article, Pocket IGN presented the packaging for the upcoming
Pokémon Battle-e series, which is still scheduled for release
in October. There will apparently be three different (non-randomized) packs,
named "Freezing Ray", "Hidden Ruins" and "Iron Defense". Each pack contains 16
"Trainer" cards and 2 "Berry" cards, and the MSRP is 5.99$US. So if you buy
all three packs, you'll have the entire collection! :-)
September 20th 2003:
- All the cards of Pokémon-e EX Sandstorm have been added to
the e-Card Catalog. The card scans will be added later.
- pokemon-tcg.com
underwent a little makeover this past week, to celebrate the official release
of Pokémon-e EX Sandstorm! As usual, you'll find a checklist in
PDF format.
- nintendo-e-reader.com
has also been updated for EX Sandstorm. You will also find some info
and a new checklist for the Pokémon-e Skyridge series.
- You have 10 days left to submit your entry to the Game & Watch Design
Contest! Better hurry up, because all entries submitted after September
30th at midnight will be rejected! No exceptions!
September 27th 2003:
- A new entry has been added to the contest log of the Game & Watch
Design Contest. Counting today, you have 4 days left to submit an
entry to this contest! Don't wait until the very last minute, because if
your contest entry gets disqualified for any reason, you may not have
time to make corrections!
- The card scan for the Pokémon "Combusken 009" promotional e-Card
(PN 00907) has been added to the e-Card Catalog.
- For those of you who have had no luck getting the "Eon Ticket" e-Card
at various promotional events this summer, your luck is about to change:
You can find it in the November 2003 issue (volume 173) of Nintendo Power
magazine! You'll also find some pictures of a few Super Mario Advance 4
e-Cards in that issue. :-)
- Two weeks ago, Pocket IGN showed us the packaging for the upcoming
Pokémon Battle-e series of e-Cards. Now they do it again in
a recent
article where the packaging for the Super Mario Advance 4 e-Card
packs are presented. Also, good ol' Craig posted another
article just yesterday, in which he provided a detailed analysis of the
two e-Cards that will be bundled with the game. Go read it right now, it's
really interesting!
- Still on the subject of the SMA4 e-Cards, you can see some interesting
stuff by clicking on the "CARD" and "MOVIE" tags on this
page. Thanks go to Jonathan Breeden for the link.
